Badalona\/Madrid, 3 July 2019<\/em>. The agreement, effective immediately, provides that the Norwegian Statkraft will supply 525 GWh of electricity to Audax Renovables annually for a period of ten and a half years. A quantity of energy that could satisfy the energy needs of approximately 130 thousand Spanish families in a year. And only green energy that Audax Renovables will distribute among SMEs and domestic users.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The electricity supplied will come entirely from Statkraft's Spanish solar energy portfolio. During the last 15 months, the Norwegian company has closed several power purchase agreements both for purely market-oriented operations and for projects resulting from the award of public tenders. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n With this agreement, Audax Renovables and Statkraft make their contribution to achieving the 2020 climate objectives, with the 20% of energy coming from renewable sources. A significant figure, especially if we consider that SMEs - and their consumption - are key components in this phase of energy transition.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cThe agreement is in line with our strategic objective of having affordable energy thanks to the signing of long-term Power Purchase Agreements, in order to continue growth at a national and international level.
