Audax renovable in Panama<\/h1>\n

Audax Renovables, the Audax group company dedicated to the generation of energy from renewable sources, has started construction work on the Toabr\u00e9 wind farm, in Panama. The project, shared with local partners, will lead to the creation of a first phase with 66 MW of installed power and over 150 million dollars invested. 
\nTo carry out the project, the established Parque E\u00f3lico Toabr\u00e9 company obtained financing for 12 years for a total amount of 104 million dollars. Banco Prival of Panama acts as the agent, although a consortium of Panamanian banks and some Central American countries are supporting the venture. 
\nLocated in the areas of Penonom\u00e9 and Ant\u00f3n, the park will be built according to the EPC contract by Elecnor - a Spanish group that manages large infrastructure projects - and will lead to the construction of 20 Vestas V117 model turbines. It is expected that the construction period will not exceed 22 months, including the construction of the 66MW, two substations and a 27 kilometer energy evacuation line already designed for future phases, with an annual production of 240GWh. <\/p>\n

It is also recalled that, in January 2014, the Parque E\u00f3lico Toabr\u00e9 company was awarded a tender (LPI-ETESA-03-13 announced by the Empresa Estatal de Transmisi\u00f3n El\u00e9ctrica, SA ETESA) for the sale of electricity over the next 15 years , in line with the Panamanian government's objective of achieving an increasingly safe, continuous and clean energy distribution, also through the exploitation of renewable sources. <\/p>\n
